The Reverend Laura Beck joined St. Matthias Episcopal Church as Rector in February 2017. She graduated from the School of Theology at Sewanee, the University of the South, in May 2013 and was ordained to the priesthood in July 2013. Reverend Laura worked at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Broken Arrow, OK, and Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, before being selected as the Rector of St. Matthias.
Reverend Laura worked as a Registered Nurse in Texas and Oklahoma before attending seminary. She has a cat and enjoys spending time in the outdoors, reading, and doing different types of crafts.
